Introduce your children to the world of digital creation and physical building! This unique course seamlessly integrates the digital coding platform, Scratch, with the timeless creativity of LEGO building blocks. Our young learners will not only grasp foundational coding concepts but also understand how digital designs can influence physical creations.

My name is Ayushi and I was born in Chandigarh, India. I have been teaching for the last 6 years. I have completed my graduation in Computer Science in 2016 and worked with multiple startups till now. I have experience in working with marketing firms, edtechs, and STEM learners. In my free time, I love trying new things. I have a national participation certificate in Taekwondo, All-India rank 17 in language proficiency and cultural knowledge, volunteered in an old-age home, and a state level certification in gymnastics. My interests are traveling, music, cooking, and reading books.

What are your teachers’ backgrounds?Most of our teachers are professional with OCT and others without a teaching certification are also experienced. Our teachers come from various ethnic backgrounds and majority of them have English as their first languages, and some are multi-linguistic.

What courses are being offered currently, and what is the class setting?We’re currently offering Pixel Art and Animation, Scratch Coding and LEGO, Python and Robotics, App and Web Development, 2D Animation and Digital Art, and Creative Writing. We offer two basic class settings, both one-on-one and group classes. We keep the course content and pedagogy flexible to fit students’ capacity, knowledge level and study habits.

What are the age groups that the courses are designed for?We have been happily providing our services to students from Grade 4 to Grade 12.

What methods of payments do you accept, and can I pay with Chinese Yuan?We offer two packages: 10 classes and 20 classes, and each class will last 1-1.5 hours, depending on different subject. We currently accept WeChat and Alipay payment, Interec e-transfer and personal cheques.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?If insufficient registrations occur, the class could be called off. We will make this decision a couple of days prior to the scheduled class date. If the class is cancelled, you'll be informed and given the choice of converting your registration into a credit with Cuddles Learning or receiving a full refund. If student cannot continue classes under certain circumstances, partial refund or full refund will be considered. However, if student has already taken more than 3 classes regardless of the course package, no refund will be considered.

Will there be materials available for practice after the class?Students will be assigned homework after class.

Can I switch teachers halfway through the course? Can I choose my own schedule?Our teachers maintain the highest standard of professionalism and work ethic when it comes to teaching, however when an issue arises, we will make our best effort to resolve it. If student insists on switching teacher, we do our best to accommodate the request. In terms of class schedule creation, we consolidate both students and teachers’ availabilities before the course start and set the final schedule with both parties’ consent. Schedules are only subject to changes under special circumstances and valid reasons.

What ages are your programs for?Our programs are created for Grades 1-2, 3-5 and 6-8.

Is prior experience with certain software or skills required for children to participate in your programs?No prior knowledge is needed, just a willingness to create! Our instructors will guide your children in safely using any necessary software or materials, as well as provide any additional instruction they may need.

How many kids are in a virtual classroom?Our classroom ratio is 1 instructor per 5-6 students.

What should I do if my kid is unable to attend a session?For your child to fully benefit from their experience at Cuddles Learning, it's crucial for them to regularly attend their scheduled classes. This consistency helps them connect with their peers, build rapport with instructors, and steadily learn new technologies. However, we realize that perfect attendance isn't always feasible. Each student is permitted one rescheduled class per billing month if their total attendance falls below four sessions for that period. To qualify for a reschedule, you must cancel the class at least 24 hours ahead of time. No reschedules are offered after the class has occurred, and late cancellations may incur a fee.
